| Been awhile since I've been on so I figured I'd start my blog for the new year with a challenge to all my friends.
Create your own super hero or super villain
You've been challenged to create your own super hero. The rules are simple, just make up a super hero or villain then answer the questions below. Name: Beat Mistress
Age: 25
Place of Residence/ Service: Las Angelas, CA
Power: With her unique combination of music and martial arts the Beat Mistress is able to deliver a powerful beat down to any who threaten her city.
Costume: A white tank top with a blood red music note on it under a black leather jacket with back jeans, red sash as a belt, combat boots, and topped with industry grade headphones.
Back story: Growing up in a rough and violent neighborhood of L.A. forced our hero to become strong and observant. For years her only outlet was to put on a good song and escape into it, away from all the violence and pain around her. A few weeks after her fifteenth birthday a karate dojo opened up not far from our young heroine's house.Out of curiosity she attended a class but soon found a love for the new sport as well as a new escape from the horrors of the world around her. Her love became a passion and soon she became a skilled fighter, grabbing the attention of the dojo's head master who took her under his wing and personally began mentoring our hero in her training. Years of happiness passed for our heroine as she kept on studying the arts of combat with her new found mentor and friend until on day the violence and pain which had for so long been kept outside the confines of the dojo where released on the inside. In the dead of night our heroine's beloved dojo was broken into and burned to the ground by some fire happy gangsters and her dear mentor was shot to death. With her place of sanctuary gone our heroine vows to use her skills in the pursuit and destruction of the very crime and criminals who plagued her neighborhood as a child and destroyed the place that she loved so much.

Just another moment of realization that the talent that you have is more than dwarfed
Wish as I might, hold onto my dreams so tight but still they slip away.
It's time I woke up, realize that I suck and live with my second place.
Looking around I see that I'm just a shadow of what others can do.
I'll continue to fight even though I'm not right in hopes that I can steal a day.
I wont just give up, I've seen it enough and I can't let my dreams fly away.

| So, you know those movies that you just love so much that you still think about them days after you've seen them? I saw one of those movies Saturday night. Max Payne. Good movie if you're in the mood for an action flick. The plot line isn't very original but watching it I could have cared less and the graphics were amazing. I highly suggest it if you just want to escape you're life for a little while, watch things explode, and guns being shot. Oh, and can I just add that leather jackets are sexy! :)
